Conclusion

In this class I learned  lot about different programs that I never even heard of before such as mastercam, revit and inventor. I had a little bit of knowledge about AutoCAD but not enough to be able to build something. Threw this course I was able to pick up a lot of knowledge about the different programs and how to make more advanced items. I had a lot of fun in this course and hope to be back next year!

MasterCam

Cam Board

The task was to create a cam board MasterCam. First we had to make the 3D model. Then you make the tool paths to show how to care in all of the items. Last you hit the code button to get the code. The hardest part was to get all of the holes on the board

Cribbage Board

This task was to create a cribbage board on MasterCam. First we made the 3D model. Next we make the toolpaths and verify that. Last you get the code so you could carve it if you wanted. The hardest part was to create the squares on the sides.

Rams

This task was to create are Logo that we found on the internet and carve it into a block of wood. First I transferred the inventor file into MasterCam. Second I added in my toolpaths. Next I verified it. Lat I got the code. The hardest part was to get the toolpaths working properly to carve it just the way I wanted it.

AutoCad

Fork

This task was to create a fork tool. I started by making a t using lines. I then moved onto making it 3d and symmetrical. Last I made the radius on all of the curves. The hardest part was to create the oval part.

Floor Plan Model

This task was to make a simple floor plan on a house using AutoCAD architecture. First I made the walls to the house. Next I made all pf the rooms. Then I added in all of the doors and windows. Last you add the roof on top. The hardest part was to add in all of the windows.

Rocker Arm

This task was the make a rocker arm and it was made to help us work with tangent lines. First you make three circles. Second you connect all the circles with tangent lines. The hardest part is to get the tangent lines to attract properly.

Inventor

IPhone 5c

The task was to create our phones using Autodesk Inventor. I started by taking measurements of the phone. I then moved onto creating the phone from the front to the sides to the top and bottom and last the back. I then colored the phone so it matched mine. The hardest part was the ringer switch.

The phone was black but this model of iPhone had a built in green plastic case around it. The phone has a lot of speakers on the bottom of the phone and a lot of buttons on the sides. The model of phone I used had a curved back instead of a more squared back.

Fidget Cube

The task was to make any object that wasn't to challenging but wasn't to easy and I decided to make my fidget cube. I started with making a cube. From there I started to make the different sides of the cube. The hardest part was either the switch or the gears.

The fidget cube was black with all of the interactive parts orange. The cube has a different thing on each side.

Rams

The task was to make one of are favorite logos and then to cut it out in Mastercam. This was easy because you photo shop a picture then put it on and all you half to do is extrude it. I started with finding a good photo on the internet. I  then photo shopped it. Next I brought it on Inventor And extruded.

The logo does not have any colour on it because I did not need to for the task that was given.

Superman

The task was to make a superman logo by inserting coordinates on AutoCAD and then transferring it into inventor and extruding it. I started by inserting all of the angles using the line tool on AutoCAD. Next we transfer it into inventor and extrude it.

The super man logo is red but it has yellow in between the spaces.

Laptop Stand

The task was to create a laptop stand that was easy to make and that we could make out of cardboard. First thing I did we research a good design that I thought was good. Second I created a rough sketch. Third I made it on inventor. The hardest part was to get the proper measurements for angles.

The laptop stand was made out of cardboard and was made with very few materials.
